Phillip Manikum, an actor whose vast experience ranges from Peter Brook’s classic Midsummer Night’s Dream to the much lauded film, Notting Hill, by way of his own cult one man show, Scouting for boys.
After training at RADA, Phillip was a founder member of the Liverpool Everyman Theatre in 1964. In 1965 his West End debut was in Paul Ableman's 'Green Julia' at the New Arts theatre. For eight years he was a member of the Royal Shakespeare Company. He toured the world for three years in Peter Brook's legendary production of 'A Midsummer Night's Dream'. He has numerous TV credits and has made over 200 broadcasts in radio drama and light entertainment. He now tours with his own one-man play, Scouting for Boys'. His most recent films include 'Notting Hill' and 'Madame Bovary'.
