Bristol Old Vic Theatre School

We are pleased to present three short stories by Roger Stennett, produced by students at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School.

Bristol Old Vic Theatre School was opened in 1946 by Laurence Olivier. It’s mission was to train actors for the Bristol Old Vic Company, and it was based in a room above a fruit and veg market.

These days it is a member of the conservatoire for dance and drama, and offers a number of courses for actors and technicians at undergraduate or postgraduate level.

The short stories were produced over the course of a week by 2nd year stage management students as a module in audio drama production, and were written and directed by Roger Stennett.

The recordings were produced at Christchurch Studios, a former BBC drama and music studio, now owned by the Theatre School.

I hope you enjoy them!

Ian Humphreys, Studio manager, 31st October 2012
